We have developed concepts like the love letter protocol and live art derivative lineages. We have designed governance rituals and gamified audit experiences to reroute the absolutisms of consent.

Now, we are turning our celebration into a decentralized, open-ended festivity.

PROOF-OF-CELEBRATION collates three threads: THE ANARCHIVING GAME, is a living, decentralized archive allowing for convivial memory building; THE KARMETPLACE, an NFT Marketplace to collectLive Art; and THE SPHERE PAVILION, a custom built VR gallery showcasing seeds and derivative artworks funded during our first KARMIC FUNDING CYCLE.

THE
ANARCHIVING
GAME

 

THE ANARCHIVING GAME invites participants to mint, share and collect fragments related to the Sphere’s creative journey. The ever-expanding canvas leverages blockchain capabilities not only to nurture the memory of the community, but also to open it up and turn it into a form of collective divinatory practice. 

 

Constructed on top of Zora for its low transaction costs and shared protocol revenue, the game is made of a co-owned smart contract and a visualization web app. Funds generated support both THE SPHERE COMMONS POOL and the ANARCHIVISTS, empowering a collaborative, interoperable ecology of funding that extends beyond The Sphere as it connects with other organizations.  

All in all, we approach digital self-collecting, i.e. the anarchiving of an emergent collective memory, as live art.

THE
KARMETPLACE

 

 

The Sphere’s KARMETPLACE is an NFT marketplace bridging the ephemeral nature of Live Art with the retaining power of blockchain. This collectively owned piece of infrastructure enables collectors, artists, and audiences to trade, collect live art created through the karmic funding cycle.

THE KARMETPLACE fosters a network of support for the Live Arts community.  As artistic members of the ecosystem, both seed and derivative artists receive royalties for secondary sales (in splits of up to 20%), and sellers can allocate up to 80% of proceeds to THE SPHERE COMMONS POOL.

Powered by Reservoir SDK, THE KARMETPLACE for now supports Ethereum and Zora blockchains, offering seamless navigation and trading experience. Explore the paradox of collecting the uncollectible, and become part of the performance.

SPHERE
PAVILION

THE SPHERE PAVILION is a VR-ready custom virtual gallery created to present works from The Sphere’s First Karmic Funding Cycle. Developed at Oncyber platform, it serves as an immersive space for hosting events and engaging with performance art reimagined for the digital realm. The environment embraces fluidity and circularity, featuring sculpted, semi-transparent niches where visitors can “fly” between displays of tokenized works.

THE PAVILION‘s design combines a flooded ground with a vast, open sky, creating an expansive and surreal atmosphere that blurs the boundaries between art, audience, and space.

As part of the PROOF-OF-CELEBRATION event series, THE SPHERE PAVILION showcases the seed works of ANDREA SALUSTRI and ANTONIA KUZMANIĆ, alongside the derivative works of MARIJA BARANAUSKAITĖ,
CECILIA MANFRINI, and
UTKA NEUHEN GAVUZZO. The opening section features a new film by LENE VOLLHARDT.
