THE ANARCHIVING GAME
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Dear Sphereans, we warmly welcome you all to the Anarchiving Game!
The game invites participants to mint constellations of fragments branching in and out of the Sphere’s creative journey. Envisioned as a fractal, participatory archive, it offers an ever-expanding canvas that not only preserves, but continually reimagines the collective memory and future becomings of the Sphere’s community.

Built on the Zora Network due to its low transaction costs and shared protocol revenue options, the game’s web3 infrastructure includes a co-owned smart contract and a visualization web app. Funds generated support both The Sphere Common Pool and the Anarchivists, underlining a commitment to a collaborative, interoperable ecology of funding that extends beyond the Sphere – towards including organizations adjacent to the Sphere’s principles.
This guide is made of 6 phases.
Please follow each of them before start creating your fragments.
The Anarchiving Game is supported by New Models for Interdependence and Ownership in Art and Culture, a program coordinated by Serpentine Future Art Ecosystems and RadicalXChange. Developed by Uint Studio (Vitor Butkus) and The Sphere Core Team (Erik Bordeleau, Lene Vollhardt, and Pedro Victor Brandão).

The main onboarding for registering new Anarchivists starts on The Anarchiving Game Guild.
